About Velatar

Velatar isn’t trying to be one more fortune-telling service — it’s a place that stays with you. Pull a card for yourself each day, write down how you feel, and let tarot become a record of your own growth, one line at a time.

With an original writing engine, we wrote screenshot-worthy meanings for all 22 Major Arcana and put them to work in several ways: the Daily Card and tarot journal, Ask (a focused reading for your real question), Spreads and the six-card Arcana snapshot, and a Couple’s Tarot you can play with a friend or partner. Readings are generated locally from hand-written fragments, so the same question rarely reads the same way twice.

To us, tarot is a gentle mirror: it doesn’t predict your fate — it helps you bring into the open the things you already know but can’t quite name, so you can see where you stand and where you want to go. Every reading is for entertainment and self-reflection only, and never a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

Common questions

Is my journal uploaded?

No — by default it stays only in your browser. Use Export / Import in Settings to move it between devices.

Why are there reversed cards?

A reversed card is the same card’s blocked or inverted side. You can turn reversals off in Settings.

Is it accurate?

Tarot doesn’t predict the future; it gives you a way to look back at yourself — a mirror, not a verdict. For entertainment and self-reflection only.
